Pumpkin Patch 2007

Picking a pumpkin at the pumpkin patch at Bi-Zi Farms was another highlight of October. Evan had so much fun, and so did we! We went on the first day that they were open, and it was rather empty. Also, for a change, it was not raining (which is why we went in the first place). I took a ton of cute pictures (see below), and we had a chance to do everything they offer there without being run over or having to wait in line. We went to the petting zoo, hay bale maze, pumpkin launch, corn maze, hay pyramid, and tractor ride to the pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins. In addition to that they had an old fashioned corn grinder that would let you take the corn kernels of the stalk, then let you grind them to chicken food. There were also chickens walking around for Evan to feed the corn to after he ground some of it. There were also all kinds of tractors for him to sit on and look at, and we got a free hot drink, which is included in the entrance fee. We had a great time! Evan picked a dark green pumpkin for himself, and Charles picked a huge, bright orange one. Evan had fun sitting in the wheel burrow, and also washing off the pumpkins with a brush and hand pump. Going to Bi-Zi Pumpkin Farms has also been made an annual event! Have fun!
